We participated in the Umbria Cooking Experience and it was fantastic: beautiful new dishes prepared every day under the inspiring guidance of the kitchen staff. And let’s not forget the excursions to local suppliers and producers. The trip to the flour mill and the maker of the most delicious cakes was our favorite. Well done, and perhaps we’ll see you again at this charming location.

We can’t thank everyone at the Borgo enough for how perfect our wedding was. From the moment we contacted the team over a year ago they were amazing. Booking process was simple, every query throughout the year answered so quickly, every request accommodated and the visit/tasting we did last November only cemented in our minds that we were making the right choice. The whole run up to the wedding was seamless, professional and stress-free, we felt completely in control and in the hands of the experts.

From the moment we stepped through the gate on the first day of our wedding it was a perfect fairytale. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms comfortable and flawlessly cleaned, the borgo itself and the grounds in perfect shape. Our guests kept asking us where we found such a gem of a location. The food was stunning, from welcome pizza party, to breakfast and lunch with a huge variety for every taste, to immaculate wedding dinner and BBQ.

On the main day of the wedding everything worked like clockwork. Our external suppliers were taken care of, guests knew where they were going and we could completely relax (as much as you can on your wedding day!) and enjoy this beautiful time together. We wouldn’t change the smallest thing, it went so well.

If you can, we would really recommend to stay for the third day. Not only it meant that our guests weren’t conscious of time when it came to the party, but it was wonderful to relax by the pool, explore the grounds and reflect on the previous day together. And the BBQ is a must!

Overall, it was absolutely flawless. Our guests gave us so many compliments on the beautiful location, amazing food and lovely staff. Thank you for the unforgettable memories!

We stayed at Borgo for our wedding and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff were absolutely incredible, and the food and drink were the best I’ve ever had at a wedding. Emma and her team went above and beyond — so organised, professional, and wonderful to work with, even handling our suppliers seamlessly. The rooms are modern, beautifully decorated, and made our stay extra special. Borgo truly exceeded all expectations and gave us the perfect wedding. We cannot wait to come back and visit again.

We recently had our wedding at Borgo Castello Panicaglia and it was dang near perfect. The entire staff was kind, helpful, empathetic, and incredibly professional our entire stay. Sarah and Mira helped orchestrate the week and made sure everything went flawlessly. We truly felt like we were in a dream with the stunning views and venue, top notch food, and beautiful and comfortable rooms. They supplied tons of activities for the kids and went with the flow whenever we wanted to change our original plan or make additions. Whether you are planning a wedding or just a getaway, I 10/10 recommend coming to Umbria and staying here! Thank you to the entire staff!

We stayed for 9 nights at the Borgo, changing rooms for the extra night we added at the last minute. Nothing was too much trouble and we were very well looked after. We felt like house guests in a beautiful country house. The rooms are a wonderful mix of traditional and modern – comfortable and stylish. The food was superb and a Reiki treatment with Simona in the garden was a highlight. We left exchanging warm hugs and a promise to return soon.
